Of the 880, 000 jobs, only about 8000 are farming jobs, with the remaining being in government, mining, professional, construction, manufacturing, trade, financial, information, educational and leisure.
The largest growth in employment has occurred in the Trade, Transportation, and Utilities category, with the largest reported loss in Farm Jobs and Information (over the last fiscal year). Farming jobs have been lost to weather related factors, while the information losses seem to have stemmed from telecommunication downsizing.
